History of the Board
In 1976, the Jannali - Como - Oyster Bay - Sutherland churches formed a Board of Christian Education comprising clergy and lay representatives, making it the first such Board in NSW. At that time, the Board appointed a part time teacher to each of the two Jannali High schools. These positions later expanded to full time.
In 1992 the two schools amalgamated into The Jannali High School. The Board has continued to provide a full time SRE teacher throughout the life of the new school.
