Background

Before teaching at Beverly Hills Girls I was a youth worker who was taking a break from ministry and working in the city. I volunteered at the school one class a week helping out the previous SRE Teacher. Every time I left the school after my one class I would feel sad and physically feel like something was trying to draw me back into the school.
A few months later the SRE Teacher told me she was planning on leaving and I should think about applying.
I thought how ridiculous! I couldn't be a full time SRE Teacher!
But after praying I decided to apply for the job.
I was so confident that I wouldn't get the job since I believed that I wouldn't fit the criteria or even handle the position. So you can imagine how shocked I was when the next day my now chairman rang to tell me the good news.
Now, I can't imagine doing anything else! This is the best job in the world and I can't believe I get paid to teach teenagers about Jesus! I've never before been so excited to go to work. God is truly amazing!

Prayer Points

Our lunch time groups that meet Monday (FISH) and Tuesday (DJ's). Have a total of 50 students attending per week. Pray they come, hear and respond to Christ.

Personal

Rebecca is married to Peter and loves good coffee, warm sunny days, music, going to church and traveling overseas.
